About me

I am a CONACYT (National Council of Science and Technlology, Mexico) researcher working at the Laboratory of Biophysics of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. My research aims to gain a better understanding of the functional implications of the pancreatic islet architecture. I develop mathematical and computational models to generate and evaluate plausible hypotheses to explain the experimental observations. I am particularly interested in everything related to pancreatic islets and pancreatic endocrine cells, both experimental and theoretical. I love collaborations!
